About the Event
Watercolour is a fun, spontaneous medium that many are hesitant to paint with because of the notion that it will be difficult. Artist and educator Seema wants to change this belief and introduce this medium to children, so that they feel comfortable with it early in life.
Join us for this hands-on workshop, where your child will learn the basic techniques of using watercolour and leave with an artwork created by them.
All materials for the workshop will be provided.
About the Artist
Seema Chokkalingam is a Mumbai-based Visual Artist and Art Educator. She has been practicing and teaching art for the last twelve years. She has taught Art in schools and colleges and her art practice involves a lot of portraits, hands, and feet paintings. She created a collage series with painted hands.
"I prefer using watercolour because the fluidity of watercolour goes well with the kind of artwork I create; it makes it look quite sensitive and delicate."
