Ticket - Rasāsvādana - 29th March - 6:30 PM
About the Event
With the aim of creating a confluence between fine and performing arts, Aadya Kalia will step into the paintings—channeling the rhythmic exuberance of Rasa into a heightened, sensorial experience reaching ones spirit in a state of Ananda. Art, after all, must not only be seen but must seep into the body, suffusing the entire being with its presence. Through this shared rhythm, Kalia will merge with the artworks, the audience, and the space itself—transforming the gallery into a living, pulsing flow of collective experience.
About the Artist
Aadya Kalia is a Jaipur-based Kathak artist and human ecologist. Trained for 18 years under Mrs. Shweta Garg and now under Mr. Dheerendra Tiwari, she merges tradition with innovation. While pursuing a PhD in Urban Snake Ecology, she explores cultural diplomacy as a tool for sustainability. At Art & Charlie, Aadya will translate Land That Lives Through Us into movement, fostering a dialogue between performer, spectator, and art—bridging cultures, narratives, Rasa and ecological consciousness through Kathak’s timeless expression.
