Join us for a hands on workshop, guided by artist Prem Jadhav for a complete overview of the materials and stone pigment making process.

We will learn to make and apply Geru (red earth) based pigment.

All materials will be provided. 

About the Facilitator

Prem, based in Pune, is a trained Indian miniaturist and designer who marries traditional craftsmanship with design. After completing his degree in design, he moved to Jaipur, Rajasthan, to study Indian miniature painting. A renewed interest in material cultures throughout his year of study inspired him to rethink the dynamic interplay between craft and design. He designs unique collectibles, evolving from ancient craft processes. A design approach that combines refining craftsmanship and material research.
