An introduction to the 15th century Bhakti-Sufi poet, Kabir, through storytelling and songs. The songs are in dialects of Hindi and the entire narration will be in English. Vipul will also present his new book on Kabir, Drunk on Love, and have a Q&A and sign copies.

 

About the Artist

Vipul Rikhi is a singer, poet, storyteller, translator, dancer and meditator immersed in the oral traditions of Kabir and other mystic poets for over a decade. He sings mystic poetry in the folk music traditions and performs widely. His latest book is Drunk on Love, on Kabir's life and philosophy, with HarperCollins.
