About the Artists
Seema urf Noor
An inner calling & love for the language led Seema to pursue a Diploma in Urdu from Mumbai University in 2015.
After studying the works of Ghalib, Faraz and Faiz & attending several Mehfils and Mushairas, 'Noor' emerged to perform over 200 original shayaris. Her audiences have comprised of poets, writers and just good ol' common folk appreciative of the arts.
Noor holds diverse learning sessions of the farsi script and diction - 'Aadaab Urdu' for those looking to acquaint themselves with a beautiful language & 'Lazzat-e-Urdu' to
enhance Urdu vocabulary as well as explore much-loved ghazals & shayari. She also works with emerging actors and artists to improve their accent, pronunciation & voice
modulation in Urdu.
Prabhnoor Singh
I am a writer, poet, storyteller and an actor. I started Roohaniyat as a dream and this dream is growing big with my co-artists. I just write and recite what my heart feels. I started my journey of poetry with my first heart break in class 11 and since then I have written many stories, poems and lyrics of songs too Gulzaar, Faiz Ahmed Faiz & Tehzeeb Haafi are some of my favourite poetic influences
Snehdeep
Snehdeep is a trained Hindustani classical vocalist over 10+ years. He loves Urdu poetry and singing ghazals. He started with doing kirtan in gurudwaras and then learnt classical. He won Radio City Super Singer Season 4.
