About the Event

This event will highlight the common threads between Humera’s mindful fashion design and Tosha’s tactile ceramic art.

About the Artists

Humera Tamboli, the founder of Sensing, will showcase her pioneering approach to wellness clothing. Her work embodies the fusion of fashion, skincare, and sustainability, demonstrating how thoughtful design can enhance daily life while remaining environmentally conscious. Humera's journey is a testament to breaking traditional barriers in the fashion industry, focusing on creating skin-friendly, sustainable clothing that embodies empathy and inclusivity.

Tosha Jagad, a ceramic artist with a background in graphic design, will present her intricate and tactile creations. Tosha's transition from digital to physical mediums reflects a deep exploration of form and technique. Her work, which ranges from sculptural pieces to functional ceramics, illustrates how graphic design principles influence her approach to clay, resulting in a harmonious blend of visual and tactile elements. Her use of earthenware and terracotta, along with hand-building techniques, showcases a dedication to craft and materiality.

Both artists exemplify the “interplay of form and function” by internalizing their creative processes and challenging conventional norms. Starting from materials (Sensing), to the finished products (Studio Tosh), they have created their unique space in the world.

Tickets are non-refundable, non-cancellable. Inclusive of GST.
