Aksh Diwan Garg (b. 2001) is a visual artist from New Delhi. He renders oil and acrylic in dense, bold strokes, using vivid and rich tones. His semi-autobiographical paintings feature gender neutral figures depicted in scenarios imagined through his life experiences. Garg uses posture, expression, and gesture to portray identity with sensuality and fearlessness, creating a space of liberation for his subjects. Garg holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from College of Art, New Delhi, and also practises filmmaking and photography. His work has been shown at Art Manzil, Toronto; Art & Charlie, Mumbai; India Art Fair. He has been a part of artist residencies that have informed and expanded his practice. In 2023, he was at the Dastaangoi Artist Residency in Islamabad, and in 2025, he completed the Space Studio Winter Residency in Baroda.
