About Us

  • WELCOME TO ART AND CHARLIE

Art and Charlie is a contemporary art gallery that is committed to exploring what lies beyond a traditional white cube. We support and present contemporary artists from India and abroad, with multidisciplinary practices that speak to societal shifts and anthropological inquiries related to our current times. We work closely 10 artists that and have platformed over 50 artists through the years.

At the gallery we have presented over 20 exhibitions, including 9 solo exhibitions, from October 2022 to December 2025. We were most recently a part of the Jaipur Center of Art exhibition and last year a part of three art fairs including India Art Fair, Art Mumbai and RAW Collaborative.

As a gallery we are committed to exploring what lies beyond the white cube. We believe that artists and audiences have much to gain from a holistic and immersive engagement with culture, in a way that goes beyond the confines of visual art. We host 6 to 8 events, largely in relation to the ongoing exhibtiion, across performance art, music, comedy, theatre and film at the gallery over weekends. Through such events and our small coffee hatch in the gallery, we engage with new audiences in meaningful ways and encourage discussions around it.

Our new space in Bandra is the perfect spot for avid art appreciators, art collectors as well as those who are now starting to learn about art. Welcome to Bandra’s first art and culture house by Art and Charlie.
