About the artist and the collection
Arvind’s oeuvre primarily revolves around idea of play. For this exhibit, he explores visual abstractions of Home through Chaos Theory and geometry. He reflects on how ‘Home’ can be anywhere, all one must do is believe that it is. The sense of play in his practice results in compositions reflecting the spiritual and physical connectedness to mathematical or geometrical systems.
"I am someone who doesn’t feel at home anywhere
I always wonder why is that
I never missed home and I never long for it
Sometimes I think it’s because I consider home is everywhere.
I carry my home with me
I am home
P.S: the black forms are aerial projection of various shelters(homes) I have lived. I’ll leave it as anonymous."
