Set in a quaint Maharashtrian village, this short film celebrates family while tracing the personal and societal impact of development projects. Through the unclouded gaze of seven-year-old Vithu, it explores generational tensions, enduring traditions, and a family's struggle to protect its century-old livelihood in the face of displacement.

Rooted in the land and the lives of those who cultivate it, Panha is both an intimate family story and a broader reflection on forced displacement and environmental justice. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Producer Dia Mirza and Writer & Director Sakshi Mishra, with Aryama Sen, founder and curator of Ind.igenous.
