Ticket - Performance - Dec 23 - Basant - Aneri Sheth - 7 PM
About the Performance
Taken from the excerpts of Kalidasa's Ritu Samhara, the season of Basant is all about fragrant trees, blooming flowers, lotuses and women exploring their passion. It is a season of love, joy and flowerings. Nature is blooming, the women are blooming. Nature is exploring and thriving, the women are exploring and thriving. In this season, Kalidasa says there is only and only Beauty and Joy all around us.
The presentation will be in Mohini Attam an Indian classical dance style from Kerala whose delicate and swaying movements complement that region's natural ethos.
