'Sage Buddha' by Siddhesh Gautham

The three illustrations depict three stages of Buddha. The blue background depicts the colour Indigo, that used to be considered unholy due to the involvement of fermentation in its process of making. Also, blue is the colour of sky that accepts everything and everyone under its shelter without any discrimination. The set of three illustrations doesn’t only commemorate the life of Buddha but also sheds light on the ever-going process of self-improvement and enlightenment.
