This box contains seven books in multiple formats (books, accordions and 3D glasses) that comprise illustrated stories, proverbs and rhymes. OCTA 2021: Two One za Za Two, Two Two Za emerged from a workshop series for artists and illustrators. Conceptualised by BlueJackal and held in 2019, the workshops proposed a creative and critical reflection on the contested terrain of childhood.
The narratives, rhymes and texts are in various Indian languages with translations and in some places a detailed description in English. This book is not necessarily for children but childhood is the site from which it emerges.
